I don't understand the mentality of watching someone be picked on and not doing anything about it. I've taken a few punches to the face before to defend someone I didn't even know that was getting beat down and I'd do it again anytime, anywhere. How can you respect yourself knowing you could have helped someone but didn't?

Here's an idea. Cut his Achillies tendants, then send a rabbid pack of dogs after him. If he can out run them, he deserves to live, If not...... well punishment served right!
