SOOOO, da fiance and I are in the market for a new car so we'd have to unload this one.
Not 100% sure if we will buy a new car or not but posting this for now.
1993 Laguna Green 325i 4dr
~175km on chassis and motor
Auto (has sport mode, manual mode)
All power options
On board Computer (monitors lights, ext temp, fuel cons etc.)
Dove Gray leather interior
Heated Seats and mirrors (although only the passenger side mirror works :( )
18" Hamann wheels wrapped in 35 series Federal tires.
Dropped with H&R Sport springs
6000k HID's
2 Way Compustar Alarm/Starter
2nd owner (me)
Recharged A/C just last summer.
Lots of recent work done by Certified BMW Mechanic. (LCA bushings M3, RSM, ball joints, replaced leaking oil filter housing, oil changed >1mth ago)
The Bad:
Some rust around the bottom of the doors.
Some door dings and dents around the whole car. The lady I bought it from had kids and the car sat in the garage beside the kid's bikes that caused all the dents on one side.
I was rear ended but it wasn't major damage. Didn't get it fixed cuz it wasn't noticble except for the scratch on the back bumper.
Exaust bracket is bent which causes a noise when accelerating.
The car is on its 2nd engine. Previous owners had a problem with the block heater of original engine that literally blew the engine. It was replaced by an independant BMW mechanic and has been maintained by BMW Calgary since new. I have all the service records for the car sine new.
Overall, its still in pretty good shape for a 93. Fun and pretty fast with sportmode on. Great highway driving. Gets about 20mpg in the city with normal driving, while "Spirited" driving will still get you 18mpg. I've never used cheap gas in this car.
NEW PRICE Asking $8000 obo
No rush to sell really. If I don't get a new car, this car is still great.
