WTB: Bike for newbie any colour preferbly 600cc

Hi I'm looking for a bike for this season or next i'm looking for something under 3500 but will go a bit higher if I get a good offer
I don't care what colour it is or what kind it is I'm just looking for something I can learn on and that if taken good care of will last me a few seasons.

1999 Honda CBR 600, $4400. A bit higher than your budget but you won't regret to spend that extra because of its condition and brand/model reliability/resaleability.
