Spotted: Ferrari F430

Spotted this afternoon on the corner of 17th ave. and 8th st. sw.

Just a gorgeous looking and SOUNDING car, sorry about the shitty pictures.

I saw one of those in vancouver at a red light but the cool thing was I heard it first. I was in the backseat of a jeep liberty and there were 4 people talking and the radio on and I could hear this insane sounding humming noise, looked out the front window and there it was! One of the best sounding engines that I've heard, absolutely gorgeous!!!

When I was at the Earls last nite on 4St 24Ave, there was a nice grey F360 Modena or Stradale I dunno parked in front, but there was no license plate.....do they have retractable hidden plates or since these are $200,000+ cars they dont need registration/license plates?:dunno:

Normally i would be shocked, but i've been seeing a few Ferrari's everyday on a regular basis now. Just not as exciting when everyone has them.

I went to downtown to pick up my wife yesterday .. around 5:30 .. then we go Hana (on 4 street) for Sushi ..

Damn .. within just ~ 30 mins .. I saw 6 Ferrari ... :eek: :eek:

One 348 .. one 328 .. three 430 .. (2 coupe, one cab, all red) and one 360 spider .. :eek: :eek:

Oh .. and saw 1 DB 9 within that 30 min time as well ..

Then at nite, I went to Car wash .. (like 10 pm) 4 cars there .. two 911 Turbo ... a SUV .. and my old car .. and on the way home .. saw a Lambo .. few more 911 .. Aston Martin Vantage ....

I have lived in both downtown Toronto, and downtown Vancouver, and I have NEVER seen such a selection of high end cars as Calgary has.

Hell, I just went for a bike ride and saw 2 ferraris and an Aston.

Couldn't get pics, was busy looking for my wallet, which seems to have jumped free of my back pocket somewhere along the Elbow bike path. :banghead:

My friend hates Ferrari's but I love the 430, piece of damn fine engineering. :drool: Last summer I went to the Ferrari dealership with some friends (we were burning time until our next class) and this guy was taking delivery of a red F430 Convertible. :eek: :drool: The sound it made when he started it god damn! I felt my pants rumbling and after he pulled away I had some white sticky fluid running down my leg :dunno:, I love it!!!

Whoa...a 599? Fuck me running.

I remember when i was still in Grade 12 (ended 2 years ago) a Gallardo drove by on 14th st and i almost shit my pants. These days...it's a common sighting.

The Ruf was on Weissach's site, for sale, about 6 months ago. It's a real RUF, fairly high km (90km?), think it was 550hp, ~$140k

There is a pretty big waiting list for the 599, but after 12 or so months everyone who was on the list has either their order down or they have their car. There is alot of politics to get on the waiting list first at some dealers..

The 599GTB has a 3 year waiting list right now!

The F430 still has a list. People have probably bought some of these cars used.

Must be the same one I've been seeing. There's a silver dealership add plate on the back right? They've got a temporary permit hanging in the back but its not up against a window. Maybe cause they have to move it when they retract the roof.

I think I saw that exact red Ferari last night on 10th Ave in the middle of the night. It had a burnt out headlight though, I was kind of sad to see an imperfection to such a perfect car. MmmMm I love Ferari's. :drool: :drool:
