I have been looking for MK3 supras... mainly 88+... not even in good condition... I want to rebuild the engine and drop in some mods and eventually hit 300hp...but hte problem is i cant find any anywhere for below 8grand... is that what the actual market value of them is now? annnd are they extremely hard to come by? And any suggestions in finding them? thanks for your time guys!!!

its because people are stupid and inflate the prices of their own mk3s for sale thinking "oh it's a supra"...same reason you can still find EG civics for like 5-6g

You will probably have better luck looking south of the boarder.. Also check Supraforums.com on the market place.

they aren't rare at all

it's the same situation the 240sx is in

the car isn't really worth 8k

it's just some very stupid people occasionaly pay that much for them

then everyone sees this and tries to get the same amount

note: i am referring to 7m-gte models, not the TT 1jz

the 1jz model is probably worth that much in good shape

The prices of MKIII supras here in Alberta has been pretty high for the last few years, but I haven't been able to figure out why.

A turbo in decent shape shouldn't be much more then 4-5k, but they are for some reason.

I would also check out the Alberta Supra Club marketplace. www.supraclub.ca

yeah they going up in price mainly because they last long time.

try usa, back in 1999 when i wanted one a lot dumb people were asking 6-12 thousand for 87' 89, 90, that was in poor condition too with cheezy mods
