whats the deal with projection tv's.. is it just their size ppl dont like. and that they arent the newest/latest/greatest.. from what ive seen the picture is great.. but the price is cheeeeap compared to lcd and plasma, and they aren't really that thick anymore compared to the old days.. I'm half looking around in the 1500-2k range, and they def seem the best bang for the buck.. thoughts?

:)

Quality on projection TVs is not as good as Plasma or LCD. For $1500-2000 you can get a great LCD T.V! I suggest you do some research on T.Vs before you spend that kind of money!
I am not sure but can you get a projection tv with full 1080?

Enjoy! Lots of good info on all kinds of T.Vs!

Just figured out that no DLP T.Vs can come in true 1080

LCDs work better than DLPs in bright rooms, especially where you can't control the lighting.
