they obviously knew the movie was going to be a joke no matter what they did so why fool themselves? Load it up with the shit people love, stupid over the top violence and gore and give people something to talk about. They're smart the way they're doing it. Rocky Balboa was a snooze fest, this might actually be “entertaining” on some primitive level.
