Just a couple of quotes from the article above.

"Bring on the Mustang Cobras, the Chrysler Hemis, the popular priced BMWs and even the Motor Trend Car of the Year Infinity G35! There ain't nothing within $20,000 of this car that's going to match its performance."

Based on his years of testing and being behind the wheel of much muscle, Wangers felt that with a practiced foot and a stickier tire the car he drove could run a 0-60 MPH in the low 5 seconds range and is capable of dipping into the high 12s at maybe 107 MPH. And with slicks?

It's a nice looking car with big time power. It's got the trademark Pontiac front styling cues, but it's gorgeous. I read somewhere that this new GTO is based on the Holden Monaro, Holden being a partner or sub-group of GM that's popular in Australia.

I wish Pontiac would create more production models of more of its concepts, because the new ones they've got have really do have nice styling... I REALLY hope they produce the Pontiac Solstice 'roadster.'

I just checked it out at the Pontiac website:

The GTO looks sweet. :burnout:
