Car colour and bird poop.....

Stupid topic, but...

When I used to own a red car, it seemed like every second day there was bird poop on it.

My last 3 black cars seemed to rarely get hit, and my silver car has only been hit once.

Post your car colour and experiences haha.

Hmmm, can't say I've notice any difference with bird droppings, I've only been hit a handful of times in any car of owned.

I do know I HATE HATE HATE owning a black car in Calgary, it's dusty 2 hours after you've detailed the whole friggin thing.

Oh, and I used to have a `67 Cougar with white vinyl hardtop that attracted fly's like a puddle of honey. Weirdest thing.

Black is my fav! After detailing it lots i bought one of those meguire's california duster things. I keep it in my truck and go over the car with it some times. Works awesome! looks like i just washed it after.

you nailed it. I've only ever owned Black cars or red cars. The black ones would rarely get hit...the red cars get hit by shit all the time.

Yes, I have a theory that red cars get hit more often. So far in this thread that proves true.

One time, I parked it in front ot my house, went inside for 15 minutes, came out, and a bird had pooped on it NINE times. I kid you not. Took me 10 minutes just to clean it off.

Owned a silver car before and it didnt ever get bird crap on it before (from what I remember)

My white car now though. Its like the fricken thing attracts birds to shit on it. Especially in the Art Parkade at UofC. Im just asking to get shatted on :whipped:

my:
silver 4gen civic = 2 poops in 4 years
red 4gen civic = 2 poops in 2 weeks
they park beside each other sometimes but more often than not they park front to back, trees nearby but not directly above. Red gets pelted... i'm starting to think on purpose!

Blue : A few times (maybe 2 or 3)
White : ALOT of times
Black: None at all.

Got a HUGE splash on my Red/White Mini Cooper the 2nd week I got it. Didn't park anywhere near a tree or a light post either, strangest thing...

But other than that, in 2 years I've gotten maybe 2-3 hits?

you guys with the black cars are lucky, for some reason they like mine a lot. Happened twice the other day, right after i had washed it.

I have had white, brown/grey cars and they were never hit.. or if they were it was rarely.
