Might be a stupid question but that braided steel line running through there appears to be for your water/meth injection?

If so, what kind of line is it exactly? I've heard I need to change to that to get safetied at the track.

It's braided steel fuel line. Basically a rubber line inside a braided steel sheel with AN fittings on both ends.
