problem with my razr

i just bought a used razr and i put my sim card in and the only button that works is the on off button, is there a master reset somewhere that can make the buttons work? i know they work the guy went through the menus and stuff before he gave it to me.

was it with a different provider? Maybe the phone is locked to a certain provider (Rogers, Telus, etc).

nope he is with rogers and i am with rogers......

the phone works and i can get calls and messages, i just cannot push the buttons to accept. its like the buttons were disabled somehow

ok I just checked my razr and the master reset for it is found in the main menu> settings> initial setup> Master reset

I dont know how else to reset it besides that. :dunno:

Maybe the keypad was broken...

well sometimes a random key will push down on its own and hold itself there.......i dont know if there is a hardware reset button somewhere i can push ornot?
