Today I saw a big convoy of cars going up Macleod Trail. 4 cop cars, 4 motorcycle cops, a couple limos and about 30 people part of the group. I thought maybe it was a cop or something, but I figure they have a military parade or something similar. Anyone know?

Caused quite the backlog on Memorial Drive (especially eastbound) when the funeral procession went northbound on Edmonton Trail from downtown.

No, since you didn't mention the hearse, dam_guy probably assumed it was just a convoy. I'll ask my wife when she gets home, she should know, it's her job.

Not really, there are 2 kinds of people in her business, the ones that make the most out of life because they see how instant death can be, and the ones that get drowned in depression and sorrow, because they see how instant death can be.

She's the former. Most of the latter don't make it far in their career.

Funeral home.

She said no one of importance that she knew about, but if a funeral procession is large enough, police will escort it so other drivers will be less likely to do stupid, typical calgary driver stuff and disrupt the procession.
