BMW 530i

Hi, just wondering if anyone has owned or own a 2004/05 BMW 530i? just want some reviews on them, pros and cons, thank you.

my mom owns a 2007 5 series and she loves it....I have driven it also..id prefer the ride and feel of my e90 better..ohh and looks

5 series is a great car in so many ways, especially with prem/sport/dynamic pkgs.

get one under warranty and youre good to go.

Nothing but praise for my E60 :D The 2004/2005 530i's come with the 225hp M54 engine, the same one found in the E46 330i. The N52 255hp engine started on Sept. 06 production date. So that is one thing to keep in mind. With that engine refresh, there were a whole bunch of updates as well.

Too many pros to list.
Cons... too many variations in software versions. Each update of PROGMAN is like playing roulette. Whatever the newest update fixes, invariably it will cause another problem due to the update. Don't fix the car if it doesn't feel like it's broken to you. Another con, too many damn things you can mod on this car, it'll burn a hole in your pocket.
