Need help installing a deck in my civic!

Hey guys I have a 1996 Honda Civic and I just set out to install a new deck. Right now I have an aftermarket Kenwood deck but want to replace it with a Pioneer deck. I am having a problem removing the Kenwood deck. Any diagrams or info would be great. Thanks.

You just need the proper removal tool to get it out of the cage. If you don't have them, you should be able to get someone at a shop to loan you a few, do it for you, or perhaps you have a friend who could supply them.

If you do have them, and it is simply not coming out, sometimes the harness can get stuck on things in the dash. Be a little less gentle and see if it budges. If not, you might have to take out some dash pieces to try and free it.
