Question About Flash

I am a noob at making a Flash animation...

Once I have the .swf file, how do I upload it so anyone can see it?

Do i need to put it on my own website (like using shaw account) or can I put it up in a forum, or???

Anyone who knows who can help me out would be greatly appreciated! :thumbsup:

I would recommend using the publish function to automatically create a HTML file for the SWF. You can upload those two files to your hosting account (yes, like Shaw), or you can upload the SWF file only to file hosting services like ImageShack (http://www.imageshack.us/). (choose video)

Go to File > Publish Settings, you will see that you can publish to all these different types, make sure that the .swf and the .html ones are checked off and no others (should be by default).

Then when your done the animation go File > Publish (or Ctrl + Enter).

Take those two files and upload them to a server and view the .html file.

Keep in mind that you can also upload just a .swf and view it through the browser but I don't beleive that it defines the height and width so you will be looking at it full screen.
