The brian Jessel sticker should not have been there to begin with...they are removing it....and due to limited choices being these cars are so high in demand. My choices where black on black or white on red...i thought id get tired of the red interior very quickly so i went with the classic black on black.

And the plastic interior of the G35 added more luxury value for you? Not trying to be an ass, I like the G35 but I would say the one thing it lacks is build quality on the interior. And while the E92 is not the prettiest interior out there its far more luxuries and well put together than what you find in the G's.

LOL...no seriously, I'm joking around more then anything but when I was shopping for a new car I looked at three vehicles. The 335i Sedan, the G35 Sport Sedan & the IS350.

The Bimmer was definitely the sportiest feel out of the three but after sitting in the IS and G35, it felt like a Ford inside, night and day difference. I mean it had plastic paddle shifters??? WTF? That and it didn't offer near as many bells and whistles as you would expect for a $65K car.

Then I found I found out it didn't have an LSD and was totally shocked. Bimmer brags about a 300ft/lb 300hp 3series and doesn't offer an LSD to go with it. Just seems oh so wrong.

Thats my own opinion of course, LOL

So I did get My 335i today, currently my wife is out somewhere around shawnessy in it with my son...It looks as good as it drives.

Will post pics when the weather gets better.

Yeah iam thinking about getting the Procede stage 2...I heard its undetecable by the dealer, and can be easily removed for oil changes and maintenence.

I looked at the G35 didnt impress me one bit, Found it to really lack low end torque and the quality to me just wasnt there.

As far as the interior goes, its classic BMW..they dont do fancy colors and use fancy materials....they have always had the classic orange backlight and very simple interiors.

I can tell you this...my resale on either my e90 or my e92 will be better then any infiniti product.

But dollar for dollar, you aren't any further ahead. Basically it comes down to personal preference and what you are willing to pay.

Not to mention you can spend over 150k or whatever it is for an SL55 and not get an LSD. Until 8.9/10ths it doesn't matter, and really who cares for a street car. If it is that big of a deal, install one for 2k.

Well, yes and no.

With the amount of power the 335i has, the inside wheel does spin out even on the street if you have a heavy foot. When I test drove it a couple of days ago, I drove it like I would my STi.

On some fast sweepers, when I laid into the gas, the DTC kicked in and you could feel inside rear wheel spinning from the power.

That being said, there is no real need to be going as fast as I was going... haha

speaking of no LSD,

if I was to pick up an automatic transmission, would it still spin the rear wheels?

if so, how much throttle on the pedal before it starts to spin?

I wonder if its something more that you have to get use to and control the gas pedal or its not a concern for daily driving thru traffic stops and take offs?

Just turn of DTC, and the wheels will break loose all the time.

With DTC on, it will prevent you from burning out at stops and such and save your tires... haha

benyl

The computer will control wheelspin unless you disable it. You can mash the peddle and it cuts the throttle back until you have enough traction to warrant the amount of throttle. BMWs are all DBW.

hmm, I read on that forum, that people can get that front aero lip installed at the dealership, I suppose that is in the states.

does BMW canada have that option?

also, is that lip only for the e92 coupe? or is there similar one for the sedan?

just a quick question,

has anyone here with a 335i sedan/coupe install the procede kit performence upgrade? I would like to find out if anyone here in calgary did it,

if you did can you tell me what your thoughts on it in terms of difficulty, warranty issue w/ BMW, installation etc.

thanks

It is easy to install. There is an instructional video on the website.

It will void your warranty if BMW finds it.

thats just it, I keep hearing how you can remove it with no evidence.

is this possible? or valid assumption?

is it not pain in the ass to remove it everytime you have to bring the car in for the free service.

and if they do find out, then your hooped, welp when your car has issues.

a chance to take on a 65k car? hmmm do I really need the extra 100hp/lb?

do I really need to keep up with the M3 so I can laugh at them for paying 20k more?

I think the 335i is already more than enough power in its class and many years to come.

Simple! The PROcede is a great unit and mine will be installed next week :D

I am not surprised that the 335s don't have LSDs because BMW stopped installing LSDs in anything other than ///M models years ago. For 95% of drivers, 95% of the time, the lack of an LSD isn't an issue for for the other 5% it shouldn't be a big deal to spend another $3k to get the added performance.

Rob

good and can you keep me posted when you installed one,

thanks
