15K is very excessive, honestly, if youre into getting a car with that many km's, then IMHO its worth about 10-12K:eek: on a well cared bimmer

I was looking at a 1999 740iL with only 103,000 km and it was selling for $16,800

Just for a comparison... if it helps at all.

thanks guys. Calgary BMW's estimate was $9000. he said hell sell it to me for $10 000, but the 186000kms worries me.

For a 8 cyl motor, that's not bad.... maybe close to its 1/2 life. But for sure could last you a really long time if you maintain it.

I looked into buying one of those way back....some guy told me they were about 1500 a year just to maintain them...and gas guzzlers

Good luck...find one that looks like the transporter 7
