Hey everyone, second posting of the day.

I'm posting a picture along with this one.

Basically what I'm looking for is info on where I could find alloy wheels that look similar to the basic black steel wheels that we find on so many econo boxes.

Anyone have input?

I don't think you won't find alloy in those wheels. It would be too thin for the strength. Can you buy them and paint them, or are you actually that stingy for weight?

Well, it's not so much that I'm stingy.

If the wheels are alloy then you reduce the unsprung weight, which really improves the feeling of the road/wheels coming through to the steering wheel, and it improves the accuracy of your steering and handling.

I've seen this style of wheel on many an old bmw and mercedes. I believe they're known as a phone-dial styled wheel. Perhaps on those old cars they were painted steel.

In any case, thanks for your help.
