I've decided to sell my 2006 STi that I've had for a month. I've realized I can't quite afford it right now and there are a few things about it I can't get use to like the hard seats and boost lag.

The car has about 17,000mi (27,000km) and I brought it up from the US last month, so the speedometer is in MPH with Km/h in smaller text.

It has:
APS 70mm CAI
APS turbo inlet pipe
Invidia g200 catless exhaust
Invidia v3 divorced catless downpipe (comes with original exhaust and downpipe)
Walbro fuel pump
NGK spark plugs 1 step colder
Compustar FM900 PRO series alarm w/auto start

It has a CLARION MAX675D Headunit with full navigation/rear view camera/DVD player. The touch screen GPS got me back to Calgary with no problems. There's a cable to plug an iPod right into it.

2 weeks ago I just had 4 Kumho SPT tires installed and and aligment done. These tires are about 3 times as quiet at the originals.

When I first got the car last month, it had a tune for American 91 octane fuel. Apparently their 91 octane is better then ours, so I had a local Subaru tuning guru (Sunny Lo) tune it for Shell 91 octane using Enginuity. The current tune is set for 18.5psi which is reached at 3000rpm. Last night we did some wideband 02 sensor logging and adjusted the AF to 10.6 from 10.3. I'm told 11.0 would be ideal, so it's running a little bit rich right now.

It just went through the out of province inspection on the weekend, and I had it mechanically inspected in the US before I bought it.

Incase you haven't driven an STi, you may find the seats stiff on drives more then 20min. I don't have a great back, so you may be fine with it. This is one of the major reason I'm selling it, plus coming from a V8 car the boost lag bothers me a bit.

The color makes it easy to keep clean and I personally love the exhaust sound from the STi engine.

The 100,000mi warrenty is supposed to be transfered to a Calgary dealer in the next few days. I'm just waiting to hear from the American dealership it was originally from.

I'll be listing it for $39,500 in the auto trader soon. If anyone has any questions please feel free to post them, PM me, or call me on my cell below.

I do plan to have another STi in my future, and was really looking forward to having this as an amazing winter car, but I'll have to wait.

I forgot to mention it has 3M protection on the hood and roof edge.
Also it has rubber floor mats in the front and rear.

I'm looking for straight cash unless you have a LS1 - RX7.
The car is conditionally sold, I'm just waiting for a deposit from the buyer while he gets his payment in order.
