Depends what stage of your life you are in.. Do you owe money on a house? Then a cheaper car makes more sense and I would put the rest towards paying off my debt. However if you owe no money go big and pick up the BMW. Also I would pick up a S4 2.7 bi-turbo before the 2.0 turbo. Just my $0.02

In that case pick up a S4 2.7 for around 30-35 put 10-15 into it, and the rest in the bank to make payments on the mortgage. Your car will be faster and have a nicer intrerior *in my opinion* than the 335. It also never hurts to have some extra scrilla in the bank.

b5 s4's are actually more like 20-25k and it won't be faster than the bmw or have a nicer interior, that is a fact. and if OP were to buy it for 35 and put 15 into it, he probably wouldn't have much money left in the bank.

I like the new A4 body style, you can get 06 Quattro's from Quebec or the states for around 35K

i would go with audi personally, but i like to have emergency money and fun money at hand. i have never used up all my capital, especially on a depreciating asset.

^^^

If you are gonna be broke going for the 335i then go for the A4.
Its always good to keep extra cash in hand

Looks like you went with the TT-BMW, excellent choice, that's what I would have picked as well.
