I somehow got a little splash of tar on one of my wheels the other day. Road tar. What to use to get it off?

BTW its on polished lip, so notinhg thats going to blemish it.

Bug and tar remover. Just go to canadian tire and go to the detailing section and pick something out to try.

WD-40? I had to remove some sticker reisude off my wheels, and it didnt do anything to the finish... atleast I didnt notice anything.

I was looking for the "free" methods before I bought anything. I find the for MOST things, the free, found at home supplies clean/work better than the store bought pruducts.
