I'm not usually on here that often anymore but I thought I would share with you the transformation of my car. I upgraded the brakes to a 4 disk system by Baer. 13" up front and 12" out back. The suspension was completely replaced. Tokiko shocks and struts, Eibach prokit springs, Maximum Motorsport LCA's, Maximum Motorsport Caster Camber plates, Baer Bump Steer kit, 18" Ford Racing Wheels with 275-35-18's out back and 255-35-18's up front. I then went further and upgraded to 3:55 gears and a new exhaust, a VRS X-pipe and flowmaster catback. $12,000 later she is done!

Nice mods. I wondered what a F-body would look like w/ those rims.
How do you like your suspension? how much did you pay for the shocks and what model are they?

I need those brakes. :)

ps. If you're wondering why there are not more people resonding after you spent $12,000 on your car, it's because there are mainly fans of an import/compact type cars on here.

BTW, its really good to see a mustang owner taking care of suspension and brakes properly before throwing in crazy engine mods or a new powerplant

Car looks really good! I like those FR500 rims, but I'm probably going to opt for something a lot smaller in diameter and a heck of a lot wider on the Cone Mangler  What do they weigh per corner? any idea? Any plans to do a k-member or torque arm or anything like that (assuming you don't have one or both already). Last but not least, did the Baer kit include all the necessary bits to go to 5 lug hubs? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm still pondering my options for our mustang :D

The Baer kit is complete with everything you need to do the conversion. That was probably the most expensive piece $3500.00 before tax. No plans to do a K-member or coil overs. The wheels and rubber were not super light but weight is not a concern when you plan on running 500RWHP ;) The next stage of the car is Motor and tranny. $20,000.00 should get what I want. Hopefully by summer of next year it will be a Viper killer ;)
