Walked around canadian tire and walmart and kinda confused...

If I want a hitch on the bottom rear of your car, is it a 'generic' thing you buy and bolt-on, or do they have to be specially made for your car?

i think specially made for your car, but i am not sure about this.......
anyways, if you buy one and you have a choice get the kind that has the ball sitting right infront of the license plate....:D

Hitches for the most part are designed for your vehicle. This way they have the mounting in the right places for your chassis. That way you are towing with your chassis and not with your bumper or exhaust....

Heh.. I have one for my Prelude, I use it to tow the bike on a little motorcycle trailer.. looks hilarious. It's only three bolts so I can take it off easily.

I went to The Hitch Shop down by Blackfoot Motosports for mine, I think I paid around $90 all in. You'll need a trailer light unit as well, it uses power from your battery and taps into your signal/brake and running light wires to send the signal to the trailer without overloading the car's circuits.

Thats what you'll tell all your friends. Then when you go to tow something and can't, you say "There is somethig wrong with my car"

Just like smack talking ricers that run 2 sec slower on the strip than they do online. "There is somethig wrong with my car"
