Here we go again...I changed a few things in a couple of the systems to make them more affordable....customization is still quite possible.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get a loud chirping BOV to sound off whenever the X1900XT goes into 3D mode....

all these units ready to go? I need something that I can take home, plug in and go!

Fiatman
09-18-2007, 10:20 AM
Yep, every one of them is running and ready to go, and a KB and mouse is an easy toss-in. I also have a couple nice gaming sets of KB/mouse, like a G15/MX laser KB/mouse combo, and an almost new Logitech MX5000 Laser KB/Mouse set.
Keep in mind I am in Edmonton, though I've dealt with at least a half dozen people in Calgary, mostly for gaming systems, and I've never had any "shipping damage" issues.

Hey I'm looking for a new processor..you said you would part some stuff out I'm looking at your athlon x2 processors. Do you have any socket 939 ones? I'm looking for a 4000+ or 4800+ even fx 55. Let me know if you have one of these and how much you want

Fiatman
12-03-2007, 12:21 AM
I definitely have a 3800+, and may have a 4200+ before the week is out.

I've also updated the thread with what's sold...I have a cheap P4 S775 2.8GHz HT system almost done...have to choose HDD size (120GB SATA for cheaper, or 250GB SATA for more...hmmm...)

Do you have any cheap laptops?I'm talking under $300, I just need it for my DJ software....even 500MHZ would work

Fiatman

I've got tons of cheap sound cards....$15 for an SB live, or $8 for a cheap basic but new card (all are PCI...no ISA). Of course, I'm up in Edmonton, so shipping would be another $10

As for laptops, the only other laptop I have is a Toshiba P100 (T2300 Core Duo, 100GB HDD, 17" Beautiful widescreen, 2GB DDR2, GF 7300Go, Full bestbuy warr till Nov 2009), but it's $700, so a bit out of the price range.

You could always spoil yourself

i'm also looking for a X2 socket 939 cpu if you got anything laying around:thumbsup:

Fiatman

Sorry, other than the 4800 X2 in the Acer system, I've got no AM2 CPU's

I DID just get a retail boxed X2 4800 Skt 939 CPU,but it's headed to eBay, as they go for $250 average there, and I bet no one wants to pay that locally.

All my systems are upgradable and prices are somewhat OBO, so keep the non-lowball offers coming!

-XP Home or Vista Home Premium

price for that beast?

Fiatman
04-29-2008, 10:30 PM
The Q6600 beast has already been sold....but if 4 cores are your desire, I have a Phenom system half built...here's the list of goodies:
Phenom 9500 CPU (AMD Quad-core)
ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe WifFi board (the best AM2 board, IMHO)2GB Corsair C4 PC6400 DDR2
750GB Seagate HDD
XFX 8800GT Alpha dog 512mb OR ATI HD3870
700W Rocketfish power supply...upgrade to an 850W Coolingwell if you like....
Asus Vento Case (red)
The usual DVD burner....

Obviously, this would be cheaper than the Q6600 beast, but still a formidable machine. The Samsung 27" LCD is still available too....

Fiatman
05-26-2008, 12:18 AM
Dropped prices, a new AMD Dualcore, and the Phenom gamer is loading OS as I'm writing this...put it in a more sedate case and with 4GB RAM instead of 2, but the case does have LCD temp readout at least :D

05-29-2008, 09:19 PM
pm me prices on phenom and intel quad cores systems with 8800 GT's....If you have some socket 939 x2's and pc3200 ddr2 ram pm me with what you got and prices you want please. If you still have the 4800+ socket 939 mabe we can work something out so u dont have to put it on ebay. Thanks!

Here's the final specs on the Phenom:
-AMD Phenom 9500 Quad core CPU
-ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe WiFi Motherboard-Feature packed!
-4GB DDR2 667MHz (Could swap in 800MHz RAM in for a bit more, 2X2GB either way)
-BFG 8800GT OC Video card
-2X500GB SATA2 Seagate HDD's in RAID 0 (about a TERABYTE of space, with RAIDs speed advantage)
-DVD Burner (dual layer, 16X)
-"Thermal Wizard" Case-Black and Silver with LCD readout on the CPU thermal probe.
-550 Watt Titan Power Supply...Could replace with an Antec if you have a little extra $$
-Windows Vista 64-bit (to use all that RAM). Fully legal, registered and updated.

Price: $900. $950 with an Antec power supply, $1000 with the Antec Power supply and the ASUS Vento Case

As for dual core Skt 939's the 4800 is long gone, I have a 3800 X2 and possibly a 4200 X2 CPU. I also have PC3200 DDR , mainly premium overclocking stuff now...some standard stuff though.
