F1 RACING STAGE 2 with Carbon Kevlar Steel-Back disc clutch kit is the perfect set up for 89-91 Civic with upto 235 HP and 215 ft/lbs of torque. F1 RACING STAGE 2 clutch kit comes with Carbon Kevlar Steel-Back Facing disc that are resistant to slippage and burst. The discs have high capacity 6 sprung center dampers to reduce the drive train shock and impact. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines and the pedal efforts will be slightly higher due to the higher clamp loads. All F1 RACING clutches require 500 mile break-in periods.

F1 RACING 8.5 lbs X-LITE Chrome-Moly Flywheels are made from 100% solid one-piece billet chrome moly steel. They are specifically designed to reduce weight and inertia for better engine response. Most incorporate special design features to enhance the air flow to improve the cooling of the clutch. The ring gear teeth are milled onto the flywheel unlike an aluminum flywheel where the ring gear is pressed onto the flywheel which has the possibilities of separating from the flywheel. This could cause the flywheel to explode due to two different expansion coefficients (aluminum flywheel pressed on steel ring gear). All F1 RACING Chrome-Moly flywheels have passed engineering tests to 12,000 rpm.
