best 1080p lcd tv for under 3g?

whats the best lcd 1080p I can get for under $3k, preferably incl, gst. thats about 42" - 47"?

Ive read some good reviews about the phillips 47" w/ ambilight. im itching for a new tv this weekend.

Bestbuy has a online sale this weekend save the gst on all tv's. I think the best deal is probably sharp aquos d82u 46". Just had a price reduction from sharp.

I vote for the Sharp Aquos. I tried the samsung 1080p, the sony bravia 1080p, but returned them both because I felt the Sharp looked better in SD and had more vibrant colors.

In HD the Sony and the Sharp are great. The Samsung was way too bright IMO. 10000:1 contrast ratio caused the colors to look washed out.

I also liked the Sharps piano finish...
