i dont understand....how do people do this kind of thing. Its a dry, sunny day....how the hell do you put your truck into a light pole. We really need to do something about giving morons their licenses. Unbelievable.

Before you get all preachy, it could have been due to a medical condition.

that trucker could have dozed off...thats one of the most causable thing to happen as driver doze off on the wheel...

i live close to where this accident happen i am telling you i was passhing that area and nothing was happening until an hour and half later i pass again and i see this truck crashed into the pole

i am assuming medical condition, speeding with someone cutting him off, or aviod hitting someone who was trying to cross the street at high speed....

its nuts but these accident do happen at odd reason sometime..

Too true, years back, I was driving Whitemud Dr. I was in the far right, all of a sudden I see all this dust in the air to my left, there was a pickup grinding the barrier and pushing the mustang in front of it, mustang did a 270 stopping right in front of me, girl in 'stang runs out of car and to side of road RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. If I had been driving my POS 82 accord at the time, I either would have hit her, or her car, luckily I was driving the inlaws car, and narrowly missed everything.

Anyways, turns out the truck driver had a hard attack.

I wasnt talking about a semi truck on deerfoot, it was a white dodge 1500 with a trailer, half hanging over the barrier on left side of deerfoot south, right before peigan.

Maybe the drive got run off the road by a shitty driver not shoulder checking.

^ Holy shit yah, you can almost guarantee if somebody is driving like a fucking tool in front of you, theyre on a cell phone. Dont get me wrong, i pick up my phone when im driving, but its like " hey, where are you, ok, be there in X minutes, bye"

I would say that some accidents are due to medical/ un-helpable situations. However, i still believe MOST accidents are still due to morons behind the wheel, or MBW's as i fondly call them.
