just curious... wouldnt a normal wireless usb adaptor work the same as the xbox one? like this one: best buy usb adaptor (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10068999&catid=21120#)

I thought of that but the guy at best buy said that MS makes one that is awkward so you HAVE to buy theirs or one like it. The ones like it are $149 or something.

any usb will not work, since most need drivers, which the 360 can not provide.

However, what you can do, is go buy a wireless bridge, you hook it to your pc, set it up with your network config, and then plug it in to your xbox's ethernet port, basically your xbox thinks it's networked with a cable, but the bridge make it wireless... those can be had for ~$30-$50 and most routers can be turned in to bridge mode if you have one laying around.

Go to the fleamarket in the NE...not sure the name but its right off barlow. I saw one there for $25, the official 360 one.

Where is that? the crossroads farmers market "used" to be there, like 5+ years ago, but i don't know of any others near barlow int he NE....

Sure does work. If you have WinXP or Vista you can bridge the connections together. Heck, I'm sure you can even do it with Linux.

or you can buy a $40 router from WM and use it in bridge mode.

In XP or Vista, go into the network connections, choose both the lan and the wlan connection, then right click and choose Bridge Connections. Might only be available in Professional... don't know for sure. I know I've done it in both XP Professional and Vista Home Premium.
