1999 golf price check

hey guys I am thinking of selling my 1999 VW golf its base model 4dr, 5spd, 135,000kms, have all paper work for it, alpine deck, its in mint shape and everything, how much do these usally go for? would i be able to get like $5500?? what should my asking price be? here is a picture of it

5500$ is pretty low. "Reasonably" I think you would be able to get 8500-9500$ for it assuming it is an Alberta car.

well its a bc car i just got the out of province done last week it passed just had to replace the starter it runs good i drive it daily so should my asking price be $8500 obo?
