I am looking to buy heavy cream, sometimes known as Mennonite cream.

It's not whipping cream. Heavy cream is not the same as whipping cream. Whipping cream is just the heaviest most dairies produce around here.

So any restaurant owners out there able to get some? Some dairies produce heavy cream for restaurant owners.

Maybe a Euro market has it?

Thanks for your help.

Since you said Mennonite it made me think that you should go to the amish country...or one of those markets they sell their stuff at.

I'll wait for the jackass answers as well...:poosie:

I am not even sure where the Mennonite communities are in Alberta?

I am not sure they bring dairy products either to the marketpalce as their are lots of regulations on milk.

We use to have to go to the colony when I lived in Ontario to get heavy cream/Mennonite cream.

Have you checked all the Italian markets in Calgary?

I am just calling around to some of the euro deli's and such. Most of them have Devon Cream, but that is too thick!
I need heavy or double cream.
