The 07's. I'm pretty sure back when they were brand new in 01 they weren't 50k.

They were 50 fully loaded. The prices didnt change much from 01-05. I bought an 05 and it was 50 with the extended warranty which she has as well as hers is an auto. I believe they were about 1500 more at the time. But at the same time. That autos are probly going for a little less cause they are a dime a dozen when it comes to finding one for sale. Lexus made a rediculous low number of manuals when they sold them here. her car is fairly priced.

This car would have been about $37k in 2001 plus taxes/freight/PDI and all that good stuff. This looks like the base model (notice the 16" wheels, lacks sunroof, no suede/leather, etc...). I also believe the manual tranny didn't become available until 2002, so all 2001 IS'es were auto. And correct me if I am wrong, but the manual and auto models cost the same for this first gen IS.

That being said, this is a nicely priced IS. Bump for a good deal.

They started out at 37-38k yup. The 2001 we all auto yes. But from 2002+ there was a difference in price. At least from when I bought mine. The price for base were 40k for manual and 41.7k for auto. Yeah the car is definitely base model. A good deal as well.

whoops...yeah my mistake. I was looking at the base package they had which just gave you 17 inch wheels.
