I think it's for Business and above, and I believe that there's a much better software out there for such a thing: Dragon NaturallySpeaking (http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/).

So if I download that software, I can use it in a similar way like the video? I am not too sure, but I might have seen something to do with Speech Recognition on my laptop, I've got Windows Vista Home Premium, and not business.

Yeah, voice recognition software has been around for about a decade already, and so has NaturallySpeaking.

if it's a word document all you have to say when that happens is undo and it should be ok, I think?

I am actually trying this right now, it's pretty cool I must say. My new laptop did have it already, just did the whole setup and stuff.

It's pretty frustrating at times, when the fucker doesn't realize what word you are trying to say.

The dude is trying to write code with voice recognition?

The software is for writing essays not code.

I set this up at work to train some people on it.
If you totally fugger up the calibration it's pretty cool some of the crazy stories it comes up with.

I wouldn't use it for day-to-day stuff, far too aggrivating.

well i guess i just don't understand the complaint .

it's a computer, not a human . so by talking to it like a human it's just getting confused . if he'd stop getting aggrivated by accepting it isn't a human, then the tone of his voice would be easier understood by the software .

it's not that f'n hard to understand . i bet he feels sorry for his teddy bear when it falls off the bed too .
