Yea thanks man, it's funny these days most of the calls i get for it are older guys, like 28+ who are interested in trying a RHD car. Not many young punks like when I was trying to sell my first one.

And to recap.
- The law has not been passed yet. Things take months, maybe YEARS to make it through the house of commons. And when they do pass the law it will take about 12-18 months for it to be put into place and take effect anyways. This january 1st bullshit is nothing other then exactly that, bullshit.

- When the law is put in place, if it ever is, it will mean that cars being imported into canada that were not manufacturer for the north american market will have to be 25 years old and older, all cars that are currently in canada and registered will be allowed to stay and ALSO they will grandfather all the vehicles that were puchased before the law was passed. ie: If you purchase a car with intent to import they will allow it in provided a proof of purchase before that date is available.

Thats is all the info that I have as of this date, and because I am an importer myself I have a lawyer keeping track of this movement because it directly affects my income. But as we all know, nothing the government ever says is written in stone, anything and everything i've been told up to this point could change in a blink of an eye. So all we can do is sit back and hope for the best.
