my first autocross! **vid**

went to my first autocross today at Namao airforce base here in edmonton... DAMN so much fun!! i was super slow :rofl: .. but shaved 6 secs off my time during the day. here are some pics and a vid i took today. had no room on my card so i took them at the lowest res so i apologize for the crappy resolution.

Was that the challenge cup? what was the course like this year? Last year was gawd awful, so many people got lost (myself included).

Challenge Cup is Sunday. This was just a regular ASA event. Having 2 events in one weekend makes the trip more worthwhile for the out of town folks, plus course setup only has to be done once.

I was just looking over the results and there were a fair number of O/C's, but the majority were from newbies. We had 59 cars which is the most we have ever had AFAIK. Makes for a long day when you can only run one car at a time.

It never really rained all that hard. But when the wind is blowing at 30+ km/h all day and its cold, it makes it kind of miserable.

Turns out I actually ran a 60.4!!! I am soooo addicted. Time for the tein coilovers and rear anti-sway!!
