Quick Question for the Traders

I was looking at a mint XR4Ti today, guy took me for a cruise too, and he says he installed a new clutch in it and it should be running for quite a bit <according to him> he wants 4 grand for it, I know it's a lot quicker than the car I have at the moment.

The Question I do have is; what else are my options for power (around or more) the XR4Ti's for the same amount of cash. Should I be looking at something else? Something a bit more popular so it's easier to get parts for? Please a few hints would be nice. Thank you very much.
