How come my upload speed is faster then my download speed on utorrent

Just like the title states how come my utorrent upload speed is faster than my download speed. If someone can explain, please post...thanks..

make sure your ports are forwarded,
go to options, speed guide, then test if port is forwarded properly.

if it IS forwarded properly, you are most likely choosing shitty torrents with no seeders.


oh yah, and somtimes it helps to right click and go start or Force Start.

ya, you are using shitty torrent sites, where theres alot of leechers with just home connections that don't have a whole lot of upload.

I changed some prefrences and things were great, well until the DL was almost done and then it stopped downloading. Nothing was uploading or downloading, what gives? Is there any way that I can go to another site and download and keep the current files that are already downloaded without losing them?

that happens when ppl dont seed...then everybody gets screwed because nobody has the full file anymore....so it locks, until somebody's loads up and shares it again.
