The Instumentation in the cluster is reading incorrectly. The gas isn't being used that fast, it is just accumulated in the rear section of the tank. When he slowed down the needle would return to normal.

from 100 to 120... is INSANE FAST!!! the rest seems to be traction issues like you guys said! but still impressive none the less.
