Review: Quality Care Optical

So I normally don’t write review, but I had an awesome experience at quality care and thought I would write a little review.
I needed a new pair of glasses because I broke my old burberry’s, there about 1 year old but couldn’t be fixed. I read a lot of good comments about quality care in another thread, and heard they give a pretty sweet deal to beyond members so I thought I’d stop by and see what they had. After trying on a few different pairs I ended up finding a set of Tag Heuers that i thought were pretty nice, but they were little more then I wanted to spend. I mentioned the Beyond discount and Fedaa said he would work out a pretty good deal for me. Now all I needed to do was pick out some lenses,I personally never knew there was such a big difference in lenses, but after talking to Martin and Feda for about 15 min they gave me a quick crash course on lenses and I ended up getting the Nikon transition lenses. I’ve been to a few different optical places, but Feda was by far one of the most knowledgeable opticians I spoke with and the staff there were extremely friendly, I even talked to Salem (the manager) and he was a pretty cool guy to talk to.
I ended up getting a pretty good deal, and with some on the cash I saved, I ended up picking up a pair of Gucci sunglasses while I was there.

Oh and forgot to mention, he gave me a free vision test and said even if I didn’t buy anything he would have not charged me because I was a beyond member.

If you need a pair of glasses of sunglasses, give these guys a try before you go anywhere else, you wont be disappointed.

BTW Opticians eye tests should be free as a gimmick to get you into the store. If I have to pay, I'll go to a optometrist.

appointments are better just to ensure that an eye test is available so you dont get stuck waiting around, but its not necesary.

Hey guys bad news, someone broke into my store the other nite and stole most of my sunglasses so i wont have any sunglasses till mid to late next week.
it really sucks that people steal shit, and its a total pain in the ass to deal with insurance companies.
anyways i still have all normal prescription frames for the time being.

In ontario, opticians are not allow to give eye exams. Only optometrist are allow to. Opticians are only suppose to take the measurements needed to fabricate the eyewear, dispense the eyewear, perform/confirm prescription adjustments and troubleshooting and eyewear adjustments on the customer's face.

all of our eye test results get sent to an optometrist who looks everything over.
so it does actually cost us something to ensure accuracy

Me and the gf were in today, and picked up 2 pairs of glasses (one for each of us). I had a great experience at that store, Martin was so friendly and helpful. My lense "crash course" didn't cover Nikon's though. Oh well, I'm happy with what I got, and I think the price is VERY fair (compared to other eye places).

+1 for quality care.

I picked up my glasses on Friday and they worked out great. A great improvement over my previous pair. Thanks to Martin for making the experience very positive, even getting them to rush the order before the weekend.

What brands of frames do you sell?

Do you sell Orgreen or Fleye?

Sounds like your shop has great service. Id recommend improving your website. It looks very old and has little info on it. Some pictures of the shop and staff as well as info on the brands you carry could be a huge improvement.

I agree about the website we gotta totally change it up, I was working on it and i didnt really get a chance to do some quality work on it, im hoping to update it over the holidays

we dont carry orgeen or fleye but we do have simalar styles in stock and are getting more of that style in the new year

it was pretty slick, feels kinda weird when i was getting it done but my teeth are white.

Went back to quality care to get my sister a pair of glasses, turns out they changed the store up bit and added a whole bunch of products, they also said they were expecting more stuff to come in, ended up getting another smoking deal and my sister loves her glasses.
