I have a set of 17" x 7.5" set for rims with universal 5 lug pattern. I used to have them on my Cavalier which was a 5 x 100 bolt patter but it has another set of holes for other 5 lug bolt patterns. I bought them about 3 years ago, used them on my Cavy for 1 summer then the finish started to strip. I phoned up the dealer I bought them from (out in California) and he wanted me to ship them back to him at my cost which was about the same cost (taking into account shipping, duty and my risk) for me to refinish them (what a mistake, but I learned my lesson). So I choose to keep them but just never got around to refinishing. the Cavy has since been sold and I chose to upgarde to some 18s for my new VW. So the these rims have been sitting in my brother's garage for about 2 years. The rubber is in really good shape (as it was only used for about 4 months).
This would be a good deal for someone who wants coloured rims (like white or black etc.). You could take the rubber off, strip down the rims and paint yourself. You are basically paying $50 for each tire and $50 for each rim.
