it was ordered in brand new. wasnt off of the lot, it took 5 months for her to get it. maybe they had to order it from there, but thats what she has, and theyre not that rare anyways there are alot of them around here, where have you guys been?

That's what my friend was being told when she bought it from the dealership: that the car was a Bora... not just a Jetta rebadged by some ricer. Now I wasn't inclined to find out what and who is right ... Perhaps some VW guru can enlighten us?

There is no such thing as a Bora in Canada, no matter what someone told you at a dealership. As said above, it would have been a Jetta badged as a Bora. Basically the same car, just sold in different parts of the world :thumbsup:
