How much money should I offer for a '93 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Hatchback? What is the diffrence beetween a GT, a Cobra, or a normal?

Didn't I clear this? I told everybody I lied, and sent PM's, I apologized, and planned to put it behind us. But seriously, anybody know?

Around $5000-6000US if it's in good condition seems fair

So the LX is the four-door right? Is it a good car for me to start with?

So the engine will say if it's a cobra,gt,5.0 or lx or is there any other way that i can tell them apart? How much miles would be decent to start a project with considering it's a '93?

That Mustang Cobra was run over by a semi-trailer, so I think the price should be quite a bit lower. :dunno:

You have to be realistic. :)

Always consider a low mileage vehicle whenever car shopping, especially when it is a Ford. I'd say 70-80,000 miles is alright.

Ford switched their method of dyno testing in 1993, so those numbers are lower than the actual amount of output the engines make.

The GT is actually 220HP, and the cobra is even more (if you can find one).

first of all u need to do a lot of looking around at the prices of the cars in ur area, and go to kelly's bluebook and go to edmonds.com to do more searching. Edmunds.com has lots of things that is very usefull. After u have done all that see ur buget and see if it all fits...i looked for about 3 months before getting my first car. i went with Japanese Import because there are TONS of aftermarket things u can put on for cheap. so for the first car i'm just gonnna do a little playing around with...

Hands on Experience is the best way to learn. Hang out around the junk yard more and ask them to teach u stuff, it will help a lot.

ROFL:rofl: 4 DOOR???? Find me one and i'll buy it.

93 is the only year where the cobra is different than the GT. It had gt40 heads, a different intake, 24lb injectors, different wheels/ground effects and bumpers and some other shit.... Expect to pay $15-20000 as an average. Power output rated at 235 is very conservative.
Canadian 85-91 mustang GT's were labeled as cobra's, but there is no difference between them and a regular GT.
expect about 180rwhp from the typical 87-93 GT/LX 5.0.
