Hey all,

Noticed my SR20DE is making kind of a rattling noise ... so i think it might be time for a rebuild.

Few questions.

Whats a good place to get it done?

How much would you guess it to cost?

How long would it take?

Is the rattling in the top of the motor, or the bottom?

Could just need valve adjustment. It is around 14-15 years old.

to me sounded like it was coming from the left side and upper.

So i am thinking valve 1.

Then I would check your valve clearances first. It may just be a worn shim.
