The Company I just started working for may be closing it's doors. They are part of a larger group and this particular section is apparently not doing well.
Oddly I quit a job of 4 yrs to go there and after 5 weeks I hear this news. It's upsetting as it seemed like a very good shop with a decent crew. I was looking forward to working there.
I'm a B-welder and I prefer to work on small vessels.
At 47 years it's just makes more sense physically.
I don't know many shops in Calgary and right now it's a bit slow. If anyone here knows of a place in the SE that's got good people and needing a welder please let me know.
