It was somehow a Subaru's fault, I'm sure.

Not that i am sticking up for honda's but this can happen to any car without proper maintenance. Looks like a tie rod end broke on that lude.

Still funny as hell though!!!!

20 year old worn out balljoints maybe?

I should try to find the pic of the e46 M3 I saw with the same thing I saw on Saturday..

It's the lower ball joint. Tie rod controls the steering, the ball joint locates the wheel on the lower control arm.

haha, I am not saying it doesn't happen to other cars. It is just that most Honda fanboys on Beyond act like their shit don't stink.

The photo shows that their shit in fact does stink. Hondas do break.

Agreed. How many "broken balljoint pics" threads do we need?

There is already one that was closed.

Really? I could have sworn that was the BMW fan boys on beyond. I mean you guys even have your own section....you know, because a 3 series bmw is so exclusive and all.

No, haha, there is only one BMW fanboy on Beyond. He doesn't drive with headlights on.

3 series bmws are becoming more common than civics!

Many cars including Honda's suffer from trama from hitting curbs and such. In time a ball joint is bound to fail no matter what the ride. We've all seen it happen :nut:

debadged 320's and 323's ruin it for true bmw enthusiasts:(

thats definitely a reliability issue, not maintenance at all, you're so smart bud!

When my engine seizes up because i never bothered to change my oil i will blame Honda for building such unreliable car.:thumbsdow

The fact that it's a rusty 89 prelude really doesnt need explaining, I bet you it was still riding on its original 18 year old balljoints too. Next..

explain what?
old ass car, not taking care of anything and bagging the shit out of it? good idea
yes, so that means all hondas suck, genius! you must be a harvard grad or something
i have a new ac, my wheels dont fall off, i also have a 22 year old civic and my wheels dont fall off of that either...my balljoints and tire rods are probably original too, but i don't drive like a crazy retard in my car for exactly those reasons!
such a dumb reason to start a thread about reliability of hondas!

*sniff sniff* Only roses here.

I was worried my accord wheel was going to fly off a while back, am I glad I did a replacement now!

Honda FTW!! We don't have reliability problems that other car companies have, we have "special maintenance features."

my lil civic looks like a scrapper, sat in a field in didsbury for 9 years, it kinda looks like it got beaten with bats...good ol' manual choke on her....starts like a champ every day even in -35!

im gone on vacation for 3 weeks to england, come back, and we are still on the bmw no lights/i drive a bmw smart comments. As we all recall that was one DUSK evening and one silly drunken post.

whats wrong with a 3 series bmw? you insult our cars like yours is better? who cares, its what i like to drive.

And why do you insult the 320 or 323? You think a 330 is any better? perhaps an m3 is better?

I like my 2.5l bmw because gas mileage is very reasonable. On my vacation seeing a 330 bmw was extremely rare. You always saw 318 or 320d. Nice car + small engine, whats to laugh at?

Why dont we insult the people driving a base cobalt driving with a gangsta lean down 17th?

->jory "lildrukensmuf" tried to sell to go for school, didnt get enough for it, so didnt sell...

Thats the 1WS system. Honda's still working out the kinks.

Not exactly sure what point this thread is trying to illustrate.. so here's some nice BMW pics..

Easy. The cop shot the suspension, hence breaking it. Cop's fault, not the car's :P

(for the record, I have nothing against cops, just being funny in this thread :D)
