Finally got around to getting these images from my camera and onto my computer. Here they are:

It was a pretty dark and stormy evening on June 18 --

Very stormy -- here's a few pictures during the "calm"

Water-cleanup seemed like a task from hell. People joined together to hurry the rain along so the event could, hopefully, continue.

Awww... so the rain had won -- or HAD it?! There was a vote, the vote was unanimous -- the event continues -- rain or no rain. The track was altered, drivers prepped -- and the racing started up once again:

Bart.. in his second or third run -- can't remember -- unfortunately lost control of his car and plowed into a cement barrier. Luckily for us... we weren't injured, and neither was his car. Surprisingly, even at the low speed of like 20KPH (estimate) nothing, and I mean NOTHING happened to his car. Well... ok.. he cracked his license plate bracket -- but who cares! :poosie:

lol -- no man -- same camera (Canon S400) -- it's just... now that the sun is out (well... sorta... damn rain) it turns on a picture taking gene/skill or something in my head! lol

Thanks for the compliments Ryan -- very much appreciated. :)

Nice pictures, it was a good track until it rained. Too bad i had to leave early, would have been interesting to race on a wet road.
