When I turn off my Prelude and remove the key shouldn't the power for windows sunroof etc be cut off?

Some vehicles keep power until the door is opened.

Most older cars only have power when the key is in the on position.

I'm not sure about preludes of that era,.. could be a strange safety thing?

I would think if they were to do something like that,.. it would be for up only.

Stereo's always have constant power,.. dunno why accessories would.

I would only assume a bad ign switch

hmm I think it was the whole open door delay deal.. Maybe its like that or maybe the previous owner did something.. Cuz when I leave the car and come back the power is off.

i have a 95 prelude, the power stays on for a little while even after you pull the key as long as you haven't opened any doors.

THis goes for quite a few other cars ive been in or that we've owned, its nothing special man the previous owner didn't "mod" anything haha

i should have been specific....power windows/sunroof still run but the stereo and cell charger are both off, etc

that's a really neat option,.. kinda useless,.. but really neat!

Not really useless, I've been in cars before where the driver parks and turns the car off to get out and my window's still down. He got to get back in, turn the key, put the window up and get out again. But with this I just put the window up after the car's off.
