How many of you guys have your cars appraised after modifying them for insurance purposes?? Or does your insurance only cover your stock car with no mod's??

When i got my insurance set up, they asked me if the body was modified in anyway...i asked what that was for, and she just said, it covers u if you have mods, and u collect less if your in a collision if ur not at fault,and sue, because its aftermarket, and the cars safety systems wernt built for it, etc...u know how insurance peeps are...as for coverage on it, since i didnt have one, i didnt even ask....maybe at an added charge of course
