so hotmail updated a couple weeks back to hotmail live or some shit.. and now it won't stop popping up a warning window every time i open an email.. its driving me nuts..

"a website wants to open web content using this program on your computer"

microsoft; allow/ don't allow

and no matter how many times I click "do not show me this warning again" it always pops up.. as if its a new warning each time.. wtf.. this has to stop, what to do...

Take the time to make that one extra click...I know its time consuming, but there is no way around it.

Ohhh its for every page on hotmail? I though it was just for when your logging in or whatever...yah I guess that sucks then.
If you can add hotmail to your safelist or something, would that do anything? (if its even possible)

I don't get it at every page, infact now that when I think about it, I never get any of those.

go in to CONTROL PANEL then USER ACCOUNTS and click where it says "Turn User Account Control on or off" and make sure its off.

then restart your comp and that should get rid of the 'allow/dont allow' msgs

hotmail wouldn't open after I did that, so I had to put it back on... :dunno:

Ya firefox, I don't use vista yet but I can't see why you can't use firefox to check your hotmail.

edit: to answer your edit, no I don't believe so.
