You can always try doing a grave yard shift at a hotel.

yea i tried it for a year...because i thought it was good pay...probably 2-3 dollars more than dayshift people, but its not worth it, it messed up my sleeping habits and my mental state...and physically worse off.

It could go either way.

I had a friend who did the graveyard shift for a internet tech support company. In a 8.5 hour shift he would get maybe 3-4 ten minute calls, and he spent the rest of the time sleeping at his desk.

Like it's been 2 years since I quite my graveyard shift working till 6 AM from 5 PM and I'm suffering everyday cause of that.

My biological clock is otta wacked! lost over 30lbs, and like getting to bed is sooo hard especially at 11 or 12AM now, and I have things to do during the day I just can't sleep in so I wake up at 8.. 9.. 10.. tell me that's not bad for you??

and you just can't concentrate or think with few hours of sleep, and where do i loose that much weight is from not eating... you can't even eat at 4AM It feels weird... and if you did well it won't do much, atleast for me it didn't... but yeh if you need the money that bad I'd rather see u standing on 3rd st. than graveyard shift. lol j.k... find something better or get an education.

GY shift is not for everyone.

I worked in a lab where during busy season I work 8pm til 8am, slow season 2-3am til 8pm and I had class til 4-5pm afterwards.

That sounds like me about a year ago. Do I know you? haha J/k We had shifts, from 5pm-2am and it wasn't bad, lots of surfing, working out (we worked from home) cleaning up the house, I even did some house reno's with the phone cranked up full blast in case any calls came in. But yeah it can screw with your mind if you do it for a long time.

You can also check out cleaning jobs like UofC I know they are hiring like crazy now.
