Facials for guys

Anyways, the gal suggested I go and try it out. Anyone here go for one? or go regularly? Thoughts? Are they worth it or just a waste of time? I mean, I don't break out or anything and am usually clear as I do wash/shower before going to bed. Sometimes I do build up in the pores so that's when I borrow the feminine facial cleanser and then it's fine after that.

Anyways, I have never been to one or even given it much thought so if there's anyone who's experienced in this area, then please describe what's involved/benefits/side effects, etc. Thanks.

Never tried professional faical/massge place, but like someone said, if ur gf is paying then :thumbsup: ... but if you're paying for it and the place doesn't provide fs, then no.

"Men".... take 10 minutes to get ready to go out, don't have facials, or get their nails done, they go bald and don't worry about it, don't even know what conditioner is for, don't buy "beauty products" at a freekin hair salon, go to a hairy immigrant barber with garlic breath, don't buy men's magazines for the fashions, aren't scared of grease or dirt, know how to tie at least two different tie knots, have body hair (unless they're asian...but thats OK because the middle eastern men and italians make up for it), do not carry a murse, do not die or color or perm their hair, do not own a blow-dryer, do not exfoliate, facial peel, or scrub with anything from the ocean, do not worry about their wrinkles, do not wax their eye-brows to look like the Gotti sons, do not have any hygiene products worth more than $5 except for maybe aftershave (and the jury is still out on that one) and most importantly do not moisturize anything.

I've spent 4+ years in the oilpatch, learning how to be a "real man" and I still think there is a place in this world for "real men" that enjoy this sorta thing.

I've had manicures before (no nail polish) and I think that if you want to come across as a professional in today's business world, you should take care of things like that, no need for raggedy ass nails imho.

Same goes for pedicures (as gay as both of those sound, a pedicure is a beautiful and relaxing thing, especially if you're on your feet a lot)



Facials are another thing, I don't get them, probably never will, just wash my face in the shower and use a toner before bed, and the face stays in pretty good shape.

I.e what's involved, how much do you pay, time required, etc. Thanks. I'm going to book one but was really looking for some opinions out there too.
